EnergiTech Media (“we”, “us”) publishes energy infrastructure news and analysis at energitechmedia.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@energitechmedia.com.

What we collect and why

Contact and order forms. When you use a form on this site (contact, pitch a story, report orders) we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use it to reply and to fulfil what you asked for. Form submissions are delivered to our support inbox and retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and keep normal business records.

Newsletter. Emerging Energy Weekly is delivered by Beehiiv. When you subscribe, your email address (and name, if given) is stored by Beehiiv on our behalf and used only to send the newsletter. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. See Beehiiv’s privacy policy.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and WordPress.com (Jetpack) statistics to understand which pages are read. These set cookies and collect device and usage information in aggregate. We do not use this data to identify individuals and we do not run advertising trackers or sell personal data.

Hosting. This site is hosted on WordPress.com, operated by Automattic, whose servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. See Automattic’s privacy policy.

Cookies on this site come from the platforms above: WordPress.com (essential operation and statistics) and Google Analytics (measurement). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without breaking the reading experience.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers named above, acting on our instructions, and where the law requires. We never sell personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@energitechmedia.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
